Badung Regency
Jimbaran dan Kedonganan
Jimbaran and Kedonganan are traditional fishermen
village and as fish selling place. The white sandy
beach here offers fascinating view. During day time
the beach is nice for visitors to bath, sun-bath or
to sail with traditional canoe. To enjoy sunset, to
watc twinkling hotels lightings and taking off or
landing down airplane at Ngurah Rai Airport in the
evening those all give deep impression.
Linkungan Pura Uluwatu(Uluwatu Temple Area)
Balanced picturesquely on the edge of a cliff at the
southern end of Bali island, it is one of the Six
Temples of the World, especially revered by the
Balinese.Uluwatu Temple is estimated to have been
built around the 11th Century,the time when Empu
Kuturan was constructing the shrines in the Pura
Besakih complex. The trees and undergrowth
surrounding the temple are a sanctuary for the
numerous monkeys who are protected by the local
residents. It is located in the village of Pecatu in
the Kuta District of the Badung Regency.
Nusa Dua
Located in Badung Regency about 30km from Denpasar,
and only 12km from the airport, Nusa Dua has
developed since 1979 into the National Pride of
Indonesian Tourism. It has the most complete tourist
facilities in Bali, indeed in Indonesia, to welcome
and cater to guests.
Several Five-Star hotels, high quality
accommodations, sports facilities, shopping centers
and boutiques complete the picture of a luxury
resort area that has earned a stunning reputation.
The execellent beaches and coconut groves offer a
perfect setting for sports, recreation and
relaxation on a grand scale.
Pantai Kuta (Kuta Beach)
Kuta is a splendid area of Bali, a heaven on earth
for tourists. White sandy beaches with waves that
are perfect for surfing compliment the busy street,
where bars, restaurants, cafes and discos provide a
nightlife that’s impressive. Clothing, cassettes,
souvenirs, everything imaginable can be purchasedat
the hundreds of shops and boutiques that do a brisk
business in Kuta. Many travel agencies here can
arrange tours and tickets to destinations throughout
Indonesia. Kuta is 11km south of Denpasar, and
easily accessible by public transportation.
Pantai Labuhan Sait (Labuhan Sait Beach)
Pantai Labuhan Sait is one of several beaches in the
Badung regency which offers a spectacular panorama
and is ideal for recreation. Positioned at the base
of a rocky hill, the blend of beach and cliffs full
of natural ornament is beyond imagination. The way
of life and the ocean side conditions at Labuhan
Sait are among the greatest creations of God and
tourists are so pleased with their visit that they
wish to remain forever. The ambiance is comfortable
and peaceful because it is away from crowds and the
white sandy beaches provide an atmosphere charming
to every visitor.
Pantai Suluban (Suluban Beach)
Suluban Beach is located in Pecatu village near the
temple of Uluwatu. This beach and the one at Labuhan
Sait are 34 km south of Denpasar.The splendid
panorama seen from this point as well as the
outstanding surfing and sailboarding provide a
setting that is unique in all of Bali.
Visitors must descend the cliff and pass through a
cave in order to reach the seashore. However, once
there, the peaceful surroundings are well away from
the noise and activity of the rest of Bali, and it
is a wonderful place for visitors who wish to relax
and refresh their minds.
Pelaga
This cool climate northern tip area of Badung
regency is bordering with Tabanan regency, Buleleng,
and Bangli regency, The beauty of this area has been
known since long time ago for releasing weariness
and taking recreation with family. That can be
proved with the establishment of a rest house by
Dutch which is now organized. Beautiful nature with
hill and mountains row, valley, rice terraces, water
falls and vast coffee plantations and others forms
of horticulture present interesting view and
atmosphere.
Pelaga (Pelaga Village)
This agro tourism is located at Pelaga Village,
Petang District, about 48 km from Denpasar on
Denpasar-Petang connection road or to the North from
Sangeh and Tanah Wuk tourism object. This cool
climate northern tip area of Badung regency is
bordering with Tabanan regency, buleleng and Bangli
regency. The beauty of this area has been known
since long time a go for releasing weariness and
taking recreation with family. That can be proved by

colonialist which is now organized and has been
renovated by Badung Regency Government. Beautiful

Pura Taman Ayun (Taman Ayun Temple)
Taman Ayun temple was the area of royal temple,
which is built in the years of 1634. A lake of lotus
surrounds the area of the temple, about 300 meters
in the side of Mengwi Palace. Trees and green grass
that’s treated well fill the three green yards in
the temple area. Surround the temple are also
decorated by row of meru, paibon, and Padmasana,
throne of the Sang Hyang Tri Murti (God). Across the
area of the temple can be found the Museum of
Manusia Yadnya, a museum of rituals of human being
since they were in the womb till they burnt after
death.
Taman Ayun is located in the Mengwi village, in the
district of Badung. The distance from Denpasar to
the southwest is approximately 18 km, by using the
routes of streets Denpasar-Singaraja through Bedugul.
The buildings of traditional houses can be seen in
the right and left side of the temple, while across
the street can be found some ravines with the
tortuous canals.25 minutes are needed to reach this
area by using motorcycles. It also easily to be
reach by using the public transport which is can be
found since the morning till the evening passes this
area.
Pura Taman Ayun(Taman Ayun Temple)
Ayun a place for taking leasure or recreation, and
worshipping place of Mengwi Royal Family which was
built in 1634 by I Gusti Agung Ngurah Made Agung
(The king of Mengwi during that period).Taman Ayun
with its traditional gardening arrangement,
surrounded by water pond and its environment is
planted with various rare Balinese trees.At the
outer yard there is a multi purpose building (wantilan)
which used to be a place for cock-fighting and now
for holding Balinese art erformance. Mandala Wisata
Mengwi which is located on west side of Taman Ayun
has : Manusa Yadnya Museum, Restaurant, open stage,
art gallery and hand weaving demonstration to offer.
Sangeh
Sangeh is 20 km north of Denpasar on the way to
Pelaga.The main attraction of this area is the
Temple of Bukit Sari. Sacred to the people who live
here, the Pura is situated in the middle of a vast
nutmeg forest. The towering trees are the habitat of
hundreds of tame monkeys who are used to visitors
and provide entertainment (and sometimes
distraction) by their mischievous antics.
